I first spotted it from the corner of my eye…. On the patio
Buzzing my Forever Plant blossoms.
Briefly landing again and again.
Returning with the camera, I stood so still waiting for it to land again.
But it escaped over the roof of the garage.
I went inside to hide awhile, peeking out every once in awhile
The wind picked up and it was gone.
Later as I mowed with the big green machine, I watched as grasshoppers escaped the blades of the mower and moths and flying insects scattered from my path.
The butterfly returned…. Following me on the mower…. Not afraid of the noise ….laughing As if to say…. Ha… where’s your camera now?
Today is my day of reading blogs about special butterflies. The importance of this lies in the fact that I have chosen to follow bloggers who see nature, respect it and join with it. I suspect that butterflies flight was a portrayal of its laughter.

The pictures actually look like they were taken from butterfly’s perspective..
