I recently entered a writing contest sponsored by a farm magazine. I was excited to find out this week that I am one of 15 finalists within my region. The winner is the writer that gets the most reader votes..
I originally posted a link to the voting site, but no matter what I did…. right or wrong…. the link would not work. (I am growling angrily)
I am going to try this….. and unfortunately its a little more complicated.
Google “Farm Progress My Harvest Story” That should take you to the site where the voting takes place. You can log in with a facebook account or just create a temporary log in.
You can vote EVERY DAY (how fair is that?) until December 31, 2012. When If you get to the voting site, the name of my entry is “Harvest 1972” and my username is rcrates. It is #12 out of 15 entries.
I would appreciate your vote/votes but hey… it’s a busy time of year and you may not have time to Google! I truly understand.

We all grow something.. so that makes us farmers! (even if its mold in the refrigerator)
