Nothing you can say …… about The Beatles that hasn’t already been said! I loved The Beatles from the very start. For Christmas in 1963 I got a portable stereo record player and my first record was “I Want to Hold Your Hand”.
Welcome to Life in the 50's and 60's and beyond .... where I write about my childhood memories, music of the 60's and about life in the country.

Oh …how I loved the Beatles …I was in the 9th grade…had their records…albums…and my Dad even bought me a Beatles bracelet…with their shaggy heads on it like a charms… Have no clue where that went???…
Oh well, I was a Dave Clark 5 fan. They didn’t last long, but I seem to have always favored the “underdogs”… God bless you a bunch, Merry Christmas!–love, sis Caddo
I guess it’s ok not to like the Beatles. (It’s a concept that is quite foreign to me!) What was your favorite group? Style of music? That’s what makes the world go round… our differences! Thanks for commenting.
This is probably a sacrilegious comment, but as a teen I never liked the Beatles. I still don’t know why, but they never really did it for me. But, of course, I know the rest of the world loved them and still enjoy their music.
