Here are my thoughts, rather shallow this week….

How do you write: computer, longhand or other?  I used to LOVE to write longhand… I was into calligraphy for a while and addressed all my daughter’s wedding invitations rather elegantly.  But arthritis has made writing by hand rather painful and even worse… embarrassingly illegible!  So I type.   I have to type my blog.   My ideas come too fast for a pen or pencil.  .  .

Regardless of your physical fitness, coordination or agility:  If you could play any sport professionally what would it be?  Or if you can’t picture yourself playing sports, what is your favorite sport?  I really enjoyed volleyball when I was a teenager.  But none of that beach stuff for me.. I was never bikini material… NEVER!   I think the winner would be swimming, though.  Water is so soothing and it’s great exercise. And you get can do it when you get old!

If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?   It would have to be something with music.  Maybe not performing; I often thought how much fun it would be to choose the music for movies or TV…. that would be very enjoyable and too much fun to be a job!

What subject was your favorite in all of your schooling? Why?  

My favorite subject in school was English and Literature, hands down.  I loved to read and write and follow the rules of grammar.  Sounds boring to some?  I just liked the order of things like punctuation and sentence structure.  I actually enjoyed diagramming sentences! LOL I had several wonderful English teachers in Junior High and High School and a legendary professor of children’s Literature in college.   I am sure they played a huge part.
